SMI Alumni Klang Valley

Since its inception on Oct 29, 2001, the St Michael's Institution Alumni Association Klang Valley has successfully established itself in promoting the Michaelian Ideal of Faith, Zeal and Community. We must acknowledge that the Alumni has played an integral role in generating funds for the building of the new primary school building.

A gesture Michaelians will always remember .. proceeds from the Annual Charity Golf Tournament to the primary school building fund, presented during last year's Annual Dinner by Dr Chin (left) .

Former Michaelians had been joining hands and pooling their resources to assist in a building project only a few believed could achieve. Today, the building is completed, a powerful testimony of the dedication of the old, faithful boys. Their endeavor in forging close links with their Alma Mater and maintain an interest in its progress had somehow brought the glitters and great tradition home- a gesture that current students will definitely emulate.

Former Michaelian teachers are honoured by the Alumni.

Every year, the old boys remember and honour their former teachers by inviting them for a get-together. I must thank Dr Chin Yoong Kheong, the current president for his great leadership in spearheading an initiative which made all Michaelians truly proud. To his committee members, our deep appreciation.

Note: This year, the 3-day program organised by the Alumni starts from 27 to 29 April 2007.
