Hi Mr Peter,
I went to the school this morning and was very surprised to see a Complaint Box at the Guard House, the main entrance to school.
Syabas to the management of SMI for coming up with a Complaint Box. Now parents can forward their complaints in writing for the school to act accordingly instead of just grumbling/complaining outside the school gate.
I suggest similar boxes, perhaps rename them as "Suggestion Box" be placed at strategic spots in the school building ie at the canteen, book shop or infront of the staff room. Students should be encouraged to give suggestions or feedback on improvements in the school.
These complaints can be in the form of actual complaints, critics or suggestions. The school management should form a "panel" to look into all these complaints. Complaints should be addressed promptly, critics should be looked into positively and suggestions should be viewed with an open mind. Alternatively, commendations for a job well done by individuals can also be highlighted. Once again, syabas to SMI Management team for coming up with this idea.
