CENTENNIAL LOGO

This logo can be used for official matters. All matters pertaining to SMI Centenary Celebration will carry this logo. School clubs, associations or sports entities are free to download the logo for their use. Our theme is "Cherishing Our Past, Embracing The Future".

Note that the launching of the "Michaelian Spirit" handbooks, the dedication of the Michaelian Heritage Gallery and the opening of the La Salle Auditorium (previously Lecture Theatre) will be held on April 8, 2011 at 7.30am. The day will also be the official launch of the Centennial Celebration.

1. January 14, 2012, 7.30am - Centennial Run/Cross Country.

2. February 24, 2012, 7.30am - Cake-Cutting Ceremony "Happy Birthday St Michael's- We Are 100"

3. April 29, 2012, 8am: Centennial Fun Fair, SMI Centennial TALENTIME and the visit of SMI KL Alumni members to Alma Mater at 10am.

4. June 16, 2012 - Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Formation of the British Battalion at St Michael's Institution, Ipoh.

5. June 30, 2012, 7am - Centennial Sports Day.

6. July 6,7 & 8, 2012- The Centennial School Play, "Jean Baptiste; The Lost Chronicles".

7. July 12, 2012 - Centennial Speech Day.

8. September 28 & 29, 2012, 8am - Centennial Home-Coming - "Cherishing Our Past".

9. Centennial Mass. 29 September 2012.

10. September 29, 2012 7.30pm - Old Michaelians Association Centennial Dinner.
